First published in 1857, Pulman's Weekly News is one of Devon's oldest and most respected paid-for newspapers. Published on Wednesday, price 45p, the core news coverage area is the Axe and Lym Valleys, covering the towns of Seaton, Axminster and Lyme Regis and surrounding villages. The newspaper also circulates throughout East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset. Also part of the Pulman's Weekly News Group is the Honiton Advertiser & Ottery Advertiser, also paid-for, circulating in the towns of Honiton & Ottery St Mary, and two free newspapers, the Crewkerne Advertiser, the Chard Advertiser.

In March 2007 Pulman's celebrated its 150th anniversary in the company of The Countess of Wessex and other dignitaries. Principal executives of the company are:
